Scheduling and Phasing
Timberline maintains scheduling expertise gained through more than 30 years of experience and dozens of successfully delivered projects. Our first priority is to establish a master project schedule that incorporates (as applicable): design milestones, preconstruction activities, regulatory agency review/approvals, bidding activities, submittals and procurement, construction activities, and closeout. The schedule creation process typically follows the following steps:
• Develop detailed work sequence
• Review preliminary schedule
• Meeting to incorporate review comments
• Distribute final schedule and phasing/work sequencing plan
• Develop submittal schedule
• Implement schedule
• Update schedule weekly
Maintaining the schedule is critical. If time is lost when delays occur for any reason, it will be our responsibility to accurately document such deviations and immediately develop corrective actions. On a weekly basis, our project manager proactively looks four weeks ahead in the schedule to help anticipate problems before they occur. This allows us to quickly formulate corrective action, revise the schedule, and avoid project delays.
